In word, line spacing means the spacing between each line. We can change the line spacing by clicking on the arrow in the Home tab, paragraph group.

Line spacing is the space between each line in a paragraph. Microsoft Word allows  the line spacing to be single spaced .
Choose Design > Paragraph Spacing.
Under Built-In, move your cursor over each spacing option, and notice how the line spacing changes.Do one of the following:Choose the option you want.
