Molecular phylogency is the branch of science in which evolutionary relationships are studied by using the information stored in nucleic acids and proteins. In this the sequence of nucleic acids and proteins are compared to infer the evoluntinary relationships between different organisms.

Molecular phylogeny is the method which is used to understand the evolutionary history between two organisms of same or different species. Under this method the sequence of DNA, RNA, or proteins can be compared to know the evolutionary distance between the organisms.
