• Short,hairline extensions arising from the cytone are called dendrons.
• These dendrons are further branch into thin dendrites .
• The axon is a long,tail like cylindrical process with fine branches at the end .
• Example-Spinal Cord.
• Nerves carry messages to the brain to various parts of the body which then act accordingly.
