non economic activity- non-economic activities are performed for gaining psychological satisfaction.Those human activities which are undertaken for personal satisfaction or to satisfy human sentiments are non economic activities.

economic activity -the economic activities are carried out to satisfy human needs.Non-economic activity is an activity performed gladly, with the aim of providing services to others without any regard to monetary gain.

Economic Activities :-

These activities give an income in return.

These are done to earn a livelihood.

For Example :- People going for work in factories ,farm , banks, hospitals,schools,etc.

Non Economic Activites :-

These activities do not give any income in return.

These are done out of compassion ,love and care.

For Example:- Doing social work, helping the poor, going to temple etc.
