Non uniform motion is when an object travels unequal distances in equal periods of time. ... e.g. Think of a car driving to work, you stop at red lights, slow down at yellow lights, speed up for longer stretches on the highway, the motion is not consistent throughout the whole journey, it varies.

hope it helps u

Non-uniform motion occurs when an object travels different distances in equal time intervals. This happens when the object is speeding up or slowing down, so its velocity is changing.

Other name of non uniform motion is non linear motion.

Example:

A body is said to be in a non-uniform motion if it travels unequal distances in equal intervals of time.
