Noun

Noun is the name of person, place, animal or thing.

Example :- Simran, Mumbai, Cat, Hat, etc.

There are 5 types of Noun

Common Noun :- A Commom noun is a name given in common to every person or thing of the same class or kind; for example : Man, woman, boy, girl, etc

Proper Noun :- A Proper noun is the special name of a particular person or place; for example : Abdul, Sita, London, Kolkata, etc.

Abstract Noun :- An Abstract noun is the name of something that we can only think of; for example: Sweetness, weakness, childhood, sleep, etc.

Collective Noun :- A Collection noun is the name of a number of people or things considered as one; for example : Herd, flock, crowd, team, etc.

Material Noun :- A Material noun is the thing extracted from the Earth or used to make other things; for example : Milk, wood, stone, etc.
