You can use overloading to implement an operation which achieve the same purpose but in a different way and it needs more parameters. Overloading allows you to use polymorphism in other way as well.

Overall the constructor can be overloaded in order to instantiate an object with different features.

Two ways by which short circuit can be avoided is

Use a MCB of proper current rating at main incoming point. Also a proper current rating fuse.

Use proper earth wire throughout the wiring and use 3 pin plug for larger current drawing equipments.

Do not allow children to handle extension boards or any plug points.

Avoid any expose live wire in house.

when the amount of power used is more that the amount of power supplied it is known as overload..

two ways to avoid short circuits are..

1 Install MCB at homes, offices, etc.

2 Do not try to change the connection of the power supply your self, call for an electrician
