◾There is depletion of Ozone over Antarctica region commonly known as a Ozone hole.

⚫Its consequences are

◾That UV light can reach the earth which can lead to ageing of skin,Sunburn,skin cancer, killing of many phytoplankton,damage to fish productivity etc.

◾It has also been observed that plant protein get easily affected by UV radiation which leads to the harmful mutation of cells.
