there are three types of plastids:
1)chloroplasts;it consists of green pigment found in green parts of the plant.
2)chromoplast;it consists of red, orange or yellow colour pigment found in fruits nd flowers of the plant.
3)leucoplast;it is colourless and consists of starch and it stores food.
