polymorphism is a Greek word which means “having multiple forms”. This is an object oriented programme which can assign a different meaning or usage to something in different context.


They are specially applicable to the variable, functions and objects which have more than one forms.


Static polymorphism and Dynamic Polymorphic are the two types of overloading that may be supported to achieve polymorphism.
