Prehistoric mean before the history.

history is everything humanity has done since we first started recording the past through written records sort of like a person's life before he or she syarts remembring it. we know it happened don't have any personal memory of it happening. Thus, it may be argued that everything that happened before the invention of writing is prehistory.
