What do you mean by real numbers?

  • The combination of rational numbers and irrational numbers are called real numbers.

  • Rational numbers - The combination of whole, Natural, Negative , Positive numbers / integers are called rational numbers.

  • Example of rational numbers - 2,2/3,8

  • Rational numbers can be written as a fraction.

  • Irrational number - It can not be written as ratio of fraction.

  • Examples of irational numbers - √3,√5,√9 etc.
