Risks are of different types, but have certain common characteristics.
Financial Risk has to be differentiated from loss.
Risks in financial markets are events that are likely to happen.
The uncertainty is more in respect of time of risk and its impact.
Risk is the possibility of losing something of value.
Values (such as physical health, social status, emotional well-being, or financial wealth)
can be gained or lost when taking risk resulting from a given action or inaction, foreseen or unforeseen (planned or not planned).
