Rusting is nothing but when iron gets in contact with water and air a reddish brown like substance will be formed. Rusting is a term mainly used for iron.
Ex: It is commonly seen in rainy places the houses gates after a few months a reddish brown layer starts forming on the gates.
Rusting cannot be done if air or water is not there.
So to be precise Rusting- Corrosion is the process by which materials, such as metals are slowly eaten away when exposed to air and moisture.
