The solar panels are those devices which are used to absorb the sun's rays and convert them into electricity or heat and the solar panel is actually a collection of solar or photovoltaic cells which can be used to generate electricity through photovoltaic effect and solar panels wear out extremely slow. Simply put a solar panel works by allowing photons or particles of light to knock electrons free from atoms generating a flow of electricity they panels actually comprise many smaller units called photovoltaic cells the photovoltaic simply means they convert sunlight into electricity.
