Answer:

i) Rs. 34

ii) 2 bags of rice

Step-by-step explanation:

Hii mate,

Profit on 1 bag of Rice = Rs. 5

Loss on 1 bag of Sugar = Rs. 2

i) Profit on 10 bags of rice = 5 x 10 = Rs. 50

  Loss on 8 bags of rice = 2 x 8 = Rs. 16

  Overall Profit/Loss = 50-16 = Rs. 34

ii) Loss made by 5 bags of flour = 2 x 5 = Rs. 10

So, in order to to make 0 loss/profit,

He has to sell that amount of bags of Rice such that loss of Rs. 10 comes to 0.

so,

No. of bags of Rice he would have to sell = 10 / Profit on 1 bag of Rice

10/5 = 2 bags of Rice.
