The Suffrage Movement refers, specifically, to the seventy-two-year-long battle for woman's right to vote in the United States. Famous suffragettes Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Lucretia Mott organized the first woman's rights convention in Seneca Falls, New York, in 1848.

Answer:

Suffrage is the right to vote in elections. The movement for voting rights for women is known as the suffrage movement. All over Europe and the USA, women and the poor fought for their right of participation in government. When the women got an opportunity to show their capability, the people got disenchanted. The women then got the rights to vote.

USA women got in 1920 whereas the women of UK got in 1928.
