The struggle against the partition of Bengal came to be known as the Swadeshi Movement .
Launched in the early 20th century
It was strongest in Bengal but was felt in other parts of the country as well. It was known as the Vandemataram Movement in Andhra .
The two main goals of this movement were the use of Swadeshi goods and the boycott of foreign-made goods.
