Syngenesious stamen are those stamens whose anthers are united together into a tube and its filaments are free.

Unlike the syndranous stamen these are not united by both anthers and filaments.

This condition of syngenesious stamen is usually found in the asteraceae family.

In syngenesious plants, the anthers shed their pollen inward and the style pushes them through the anthers like a piston and shoves them upto present it on top of anthers.

Sunflower is the most common example of the syngenesious condition of the stamen.
