A toxon is a group of organisms mark that are classified as a unit.T his can be specific or general.f or example ee can say that all humans are a toxon at the species level since they all are the same species but we could also say that humans along with all other primates are a toxon at the order level since they are blong to the order primates.s species and order are both example of toxonomic ranks, which are relative levels of grouping organisms in a toxonomic hierarchy.
