• Sublimation:-

It is the process of conversion of a substance from the solid phase to the gas phase without passing through an intermediate liquid phase.

It is used to separate a submilate (substance undergoing submilation like camphor, napthalene, ammonium chloride, etc.) from non-submilate.

• Condensation:-

It is the process of conversion of gas into liquid.

Solids, liquids and gases are inter convertible by changing the conditions of temperature and pressure.

• Evaporation:-

It is the process of conversion of a liquid into vapours at any temperature below its boiling point. It increases with increase in surface area and temperature.

It produces cooling. That's why we feel cool when some nail polish remover or spirit is kept on our palm.

Hi friend,

Let's start-- Sublimation is a process by which a state changes to gas from solid without turning into liquid.Sublimation is an endothermic process which occurs at temperature and pressure below a substance's triple point  Like-- Ammonium chloride, camphor.

Condensation--Condensation is cooling of an object. In short when we change gaseous state to liquid state by providing cooling.

Like when we cook rice. We put a plate on it then after sometime we will see droplets of water on it. It's an example of Condensation. And water cycle.

Evaporation--Evaporation is turning if liquid to gases at its temperature which is below its boiling point. Like when we put a glass of water in sun. We will see the glass empty after sometime. What happened?..... Evaporation.

Factors which effect evaporation-

<>Humidity
<>Surface area
<>Temperature
<>Wind speed

Evaporation also causes cooling. Like when the water in a glass evaporates if left open. Then the liquid particles just absorb the energy from surroundings and then regain the energy which was lost during evaporation. And thus absorption of energy from our surroundings make the surrounding cool.

I hope this much helped u..........

Nikki57: donno more than it
Nikki57: but can explain more on evaporation
