Symptoms and signs are often nonspecific, but often combinations of them are at least suggestive of certain diagnoses, helping to narrow down what may be wrong. In other cases they are specific even to the point of being pathognomonic.

example, as i said they are non specific so eg: headache can be due to many reasons and can be related to the body but high or low blood pressure is mostly due to heart problem.

The functioning or the appearance of one or more symptoms of the system of the body will change for a worse .
These change give rise to symptoms and sign of disease

The sign of a disease are what a physician will look for on the basis of symptoms.
Physician will also get laboratory test done to pinpoints the disease further.

Examples are loose motion, headache ,body pain etc.
