Formality definition

Formality is the “number of gram” formula “weight” per “volume of solute” in “one liter” of solution. The “solution” is said to be formal solution by below formula with its formality is equal to one.

The term formality is mainly applicable to the “ionic compounds” or “weak electrolytes”.
