permeability of a membrane refers to the net amount of solute transfer which can take place between two solutions. ex our cell membrane which allows only selected solutes to pass. well I think it will help uhh

permiability means ability to allow only selected or suitable particle through it.
eg- phospholipid bilayer cell membrane around human cell and inner layer of egg.
