What do you observe when you add a few drops of acetic acid to a test tube containing phenolphthalein distilled water universal indicator sodium metal?

NO change occur in test tubes containing phenolphthalein.....the universal indicator will show yellow colour...... And when reacted with sodium it will form sodium ethanoate, water and carbon dioxide

c ) . Universal indicator : It will give orange colour with acetic acid.

d ) . Sodium hydrogen carbonate : It will give brisk effervescence due to the

formation of CO₂ gas.
