There can be the below three possible solutions:  

Using solar energy:

• Currently its costly but upon advancements, it might get a lot cheaper and this is the best option.  

Nuclear fusion:

• Nuclear fusion can produce much more energy and the fuel is hydrogen which have infinite sources in sea, but the problem is we cannot sustain a fusion.

Using dyson sphere:

• Although this technology is far away from us, but it is assumed that human civilisation will become a type of civilisation with many millenniums from now and will harness the energy of sun by covering it in a spherical disk like structure which will gives excessive amount of energy .
