The adjective confined describes being in captivity or not free to move about. As bound to a wheelchair is also miss-used when portraying a person with a disability/wheelchair user. One of the biggest “miseries” of being a wheelchair user is an ignorance that society labels us with.

Those who are confined to a wheelchair get the message of confinement, bound, disabled, helplessness. The society labels wheelchair bound person to be a helpless entity.
Wheelchair bound person fears of not being invited to the party because of the wheelchair and the inconvenience that is caused because of the presence of a disabled person in a party.
