Life without smartphone is Peaceful !
You don't need to check your phone now and then for notifications.I don't take selfies. I take photos only on occasions. I check mail in the net every week in the browsing centre. I've developed limited use of net and strong self control by not using smart phone.
I am not against using it. It depend on how efficiently you are using it. If you cannot concentrate on your studies because of smart phone. Time to let it go. You have all the time after you 12 to use it.
Let me say few repercussions of addiction to smart phone.
You won't have habit of talking to people. Every time you ping someone and keep on expecting a reply. You won't be bothered about calling someone and talking.You will be a loner.
You will fail miserably in 12th std which is important phase , not because you will live leisurely after it , it is because it helps you finish an important phase in your life - Schooling. A basic qualification you need.
People (include friends from FB,whatsapp,insta, your relatives , your family friends) are ready to talk about you any time. If you fail you won't have the control of your life. Others will start deciding for your future. Do you need this ? Will you let someone take control of your life ?
You become lazy and start to procrastinate things , not just studies , every single day to day activities.
You are so young to use the phone I would say. Instead concentrate on your studies. Learn to not to get attached to anything/anyone. Its difficult to let go of the things , but not impossible.
Don't regret later.
