What do you think will happen to humans and Earth if weathering processes do not exist?

If the weathering process did not exist landscapes would stay the same the rock process would not occur either and important mineral resources would soon seen to be scarce and run out. This process has to happen otherwise there would be no vital resources for the earth to erode....
