Diploblastic organisms are organisms which develop from such a blastula, and include cnidaria and ctenophora, formerly grouped together in the phylum Coelenterata, but laterunderstanding of their differences resulted in their being placed in separate phyla. The endoderm allows them to develop true tissue.
