Disaster is an event that causes a lot of harm or damage not only to the environment but also to the humans, animals, plants, etc.

It causes loss of life and property.

There are 2 main types of disasters:-

1. Natural disaster: Earthquake, volcanic eruption,forest fires, flood, tsunami, locust, etc.

2. Man-made disaster:- riot, terrorism, bomblasts, nuclear explosions, etc.
