when a current carrying conductor is placed in a magnetic field experiencea force
electric motor works on this principle
working:
when current is passed through armature coil its arms experience a force due to which it rotates
we can determine the the movement of arms by Fleming's left gand rule
when the position of the coil is vertical the supply of current is cut off due to split rings but the coil continue to rotates due to inertia now again the brushes come in contact with coil again the supply starts now again force moves the coil in clock wise direction
3)we can increase the speed of rotation by passing large current
