it is an economic theory that holds that the prosperity of a nation depends upon it's supply of capital ,and that the global volume of trade is unchangeable.This results into a war because one nation finds itself unable to efficiently or peacefully take advantage of the global trade and strikes out against another nation in order to increase their share or take control of a portion of that trade.
