Social change  is a change that occurs over a time in a situation or Social change is a change in social culture ,social values ,order ,customs and traditions etc.

Social changes may be of two types evolutionary social change & revolutionary social change.Evolutionary social changes occur slowly and after a long period and it permanent.Revolutionary social change occur suddenly and drastically. These changes are remarkable and visible for a short period.

Factors of social change can be:
Economic, cultural ,technological, demographic ,educational etc.
