what do you understand by terminal oxidation ?

Terminal oxidation is the final step in aerobic respiration which involve the passage of electrons and protons to the final accepor oxygen. Terminal oxidation involve two processes 1.electron transport and 2.Oxidative phosphorylation. Hope it helps.
