Blind spot, small portion of the visual field of each eye that corresponds to the position of the optic disk (also known as the optic nerve head) within the retina. its spot where light does not falls

At the junction of optic nerve and the retina there are no rods and cones (sensory cells).No image gets formed at this point as it is insensitive to light .This point is called the blind spot of the eye.
