Postive valency- this means when it will take some specific no of electrons or rather as measured as hydrogen electrons to go into or form bond (be it covalent or ionic)with another element to create or give rise to another compunds and achieve nearest noble gas configuration.

Negative valency-this means when it will take release some specific no of electrons or rather as measured as hydrogen electrons to go into or form bond(be it covalent or ionic) with another element to create or give rise to another compunds and achieve nearest noble gas configuration.

Variable fusion- variable fusion means the amount of energy needed to formation or fusion of certain bonds while making compunds. As this energy for fusion is variable for various compunds this phenomenon is known as variable fusion.
