Glycosidic linkage is consider to the linkage formed among the two monosaccharide units via an oxygen atom and the loss of the water molecule .

Hope it is example in part of the sucrose molecule in to two unit such as ∝-glucose , β-fructose and monosaccharide which are joined with each other glycosidic linkage with no trouble of it.
