Plants..

Plasmolysis is the process of shrinking or contraction of the protoplasm of the plant cell due to loss of water from the cell, due to flow of water to outside the cell through osmosis process across cell membrane..  This is possible when there is a hypertonic solution outside the cell.

This happens rarely and not frequently under extreme conditions.
