Anne's diary is the narrative of a Jewish girl in the grips of World War II and the atrocities perpetrated by Hitler on the Jews, giving a good insight into the psyche of the Jews during these trying times. Anne is forced to go into hiding with her family, knowing that she and everyone she loves will be killed. With every ring of the doorbell and sent away to concentration camps.
The war forces jews to suffer unbelievable hardships; they starve, they suffer illness they undergo incredible psychological strain and trauma. in some cases these people were made to work as slaves before they were killed so that the Germans could benefit as much as possible from their labour. To implement this scheme, Germans established concentration camps.
