The process of respiration producesenergy for organisms by combining glucose with oxygen from the air. During cellular respiration, glucose and oxygen are changed into energy and carbon dioxide. Therefore, carbon dioxide is released into the atmosphere during the process ofcellular respiration.

It is very interesting how photosynthesis and cellular respirationhelp each other. During photosynthesis, the plant needscarbon dioxide and water-- both of which are released into the air during respiration. And during respiration, the plant needs oxygen and glucose, which are both produced through photosynthesis!....
