What does diffusion, facilitated diffusion, osmosis, exocytosis, endocytosis, pinocytosis and phagocytosis all have in common? What makes them all different from each other?

diffusion : movement of air from higher concentration to lower concentration. osmosis : movement of water from higher concentration to lower concentration through a semi permeable membrane. endocytosis :the taking of matter by a living cell by invagination of its membrane to form vacuole. exocytosis: a process by which the contents of a cell vacuole ate released to exterior through fusion of the vacuole membrane with the cell membrane
