Gender division can be defined as a practice that has been discrimination women for over centuries. Since, decades women ar prejudiced to be homemakers. This thinking is being changed with time but it is still reflected at several places in following manner:-

1. Women are underpaid for the same job as men.

2. The literacy rate of women is far lower than that of men.

3. Parents don't support girls for further education as they believe it is not frutiful.

4. Women are made victims of several evil practices like sati pratha, etc.
