Intracellular digestion means the digestion that takes place inside cell of living organism..sorry I cant draw the diagram of amoeba here

Intracellular digestion is the breakdown of substances in the cytoplasm of a cell. It is a process where the phagocyte cells not only retrieve molecules from their surroundings but also break them down within the cell. Intracellular digestion can also refer to the process in which animals that lack a digestive tract bring food items into the cell for the purposes of digestion for nutritional needs.

Most organisms that use intracellular digestion belong to Kingdom Protista, such as amoeba and paramecium. Amoeba uses pseudopodia to capture food for nutrition in a process called phagocytosis.

There are 3 main steps of intracellular digestion in Amoeba -

1. DIGESTION - It is an intracellular type of digestion. So, the food taken in remains in a food vacuole that is formed by the cell membrane and small part of the cytoplasm and fuses deep inside the cell with lysosomes that contain enzymes. Two enzymes amylase and proteinase have been reported. in amoeba and so, amoeba can digest sugars, cellulose and, proteins. Fats, however, remain undigested.

2.
ABSORPTION - The food on digestion is converted into a liquid diffusible form and is readily absorbed by the cytoplasm. The vacuole becomes progressively smaller as the food is absorbed by diffusion.

3. ASSIMILATION - All the parts of the cell get the nutrients by cyclosis which is the cyclic movement of the cytoplasm. These nutrients are used to build new protoplasm. In this way, the food is digested in amoeba by intracellular digestion.

The next step is egestion which takes place by exocytosis. As the amoeba moves forward, the undigested matter is shifted to the back and eliminated as food pellets through a temporary opening formed near the plasmalemma.

Hope these details help in making the drawing you needed.
