in given polynomial the value of x is equal to polynomial is the general meaning of. p(x).
let's take an example.
#suppose you are given value of x in a polynomial as 2.{x=2}
and that polynomial is
= x^2-x+2
but here we know the value of x. i.e.- 2
so,
we can write it as,
p(x)=x^2-x+2.
but as we know x=2
hence,we can write same thing as,
p(2)=(2)^2-(2)+2
:p(2)=4-0
#p(2)=4
hope it helps.
