What does it mean when pinterest says you have exceeded your rate limit?

To keep Pinterest running quickly, there's a limit the total number of Pins, boards and follows we can store. You can have up to:

500 boards (This includes secret boards and group boards you didn't create.)
200,000 Pins (This includes secret Pins and your Pins on group boards you didn't create. This doesn't include other people's Pins on group boards you created.)
50,000 follows
If you got an error that you hit a limit, try deleting some Pins or boards, or unfollowing people. You can also create a new account with another email address.
