Electrons carry a negative charge with them and protons carry a positive charge with them.

+ve & -ve charges along with neutrons help them stick together in the nucleus of he atom

am656534pbwlev: look bro electrons belongs to the first generation of lepton family, whose elementry charge is negative they don't have substructures. unlike proton as it is made up of quarks down quarks and up quarks hope you got it.
