Latency indicates the time for data that is transferred b/w its source and destination.

• Latency is actually the time it grosses for data to be relocated between its original source and its terminus and it is measured in milliseconds.  
• Internet latency as well as  network latency affect cable internet connections, satellite internet connections, along with some WiFi connections.
