MNREGA means Mahatma Gandhi National rural Employment Guarantee which was launched in 2005 . It insures 1/3 of the proposed jobs have been reserved for women . The scheme provides 100 days assured employment every year to every rural household in 200 district . Later on in 2008 the remaining districts areas were brought under the act
