ACCELERATION :

Acceleration is defined as rate of change of velocity. So, we can conclude that formula for acceleration will be given as,

a = (v - u)/t

Where,

  • a is acceleration
  • v is final velocity
  • t is time interval

SI unit of acceleration is m/s²

It's vector quantity

Instantaneous acceleration is a = dv/dt

______________

Moving Ahead to question,

a = 2m/s²

It simply means that magnitude of acceleration is 2, where m/s² is Unit.
